Anza Borrego State Park is the largest desert state park in the nation. It has a rugged landscape formed largely by the forces of erosion attacking the uplifted mountains. The higher the mountains rise, the more vigorously they are attacked by rain, snow, ice, and wind, as they yield to the constant pull of gravity.
Montezuma Valley Road Lookout stands at a height of 2300 feet (701 meters) and is a scenic overlook located near Borrego Springs, California. It is known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the distant Santa Rosa Mountains.
